Why do we Testify?

When we testify, whether it is orally or in written form, we do so from a desire to communicate something that has happened to us. A testimony could simply be the way we live our lives, demonstrating what is inside of us without using words. This type of testimony can only be seen by those around us and those we come in contact with. Oral testimony was a very powerful tool in the early Church and it is used today's in meetings, radio ministry, etc. Later in time, it was the written testimony that preserved all of those events, which we might have disappeared in history if it was not for those who wrote it. When the Lord performs a miracle in your life, only those who know you or a around you may find out about what happened. Then, if an opportunity might come up in your congregation or in the radio other people might listen to it. Now, if it is written a book, this message will travel to places where it would have be impossible to travel otherwise.

If this message is translated into other languages, it will reach a yet greater amount of people from many countries and cultures. Those testimonies will readily available in different parts of the world at all times. Even after you go with the Lord, your life would continue to bless others. The value of these testimonies is immeasurable. The best of these testimonies the Bible. Is it not made of, for the most part, from many different narrations and testimonies? These biblical testimonies tell us about events that occurred because of the power of God. In the Bible we are told of miracles, healings, liberations, etc. This book series will demonstrate that God continues to perform these great deeds in us, now and today. Our God has always wanted us to testify of his greatness.

I will like to point out some of the many scriptures in which we can see the Lord's desire for us to testify
